Micrometastasis Analysis

*Sentinel Lymph Nodes

*Bone Marrow

*Minimal Residual Disease

Micrometastasis are quite common in many cancers such as melanoma, prostatic, lung, colorectal, pancreas and breast cancers. Testing for micrometastasis can provide realistic assessment of disease stage and prognosis. Using Immunhistochemical staining with specific epithelial or melanoma specific markers and in conjunction with advanced imaging systems, Veripath OncoDiagnostics can reliably detect one suspicious cancer cell in 108 normal cells. The accuracy of the analysis is maintained by direct visualization of the morphologic characteristics of the cancer cells by expert pathologists.

For more information contact the Medical Director, Dr. Raheela Ashfaq at 214.590.8897.
